- Rank: Squadron Leader
- Qualification: MBBS (2nd Division or equivalent), Specialization (Child, ENT, Eye Specialist)
- Training: 24 weeks
Medical Branch (GDMOS) (SPSSC):
- Age: 24-28 years
- Rank: Flight Lieutenant
- Qualification: MBBS (2nd Division or equivalent), 1-year house job
- Training: 24 weeks
Medical Branch (Dental Surgeon) (SPSSC):
- Age: 23-28 years
- Rank: Flight Lieutenant
- Qualification: BDS (2nd Division or equivalent), 1-year house job
- Training: 24 week
